2016 Cambodia Mission Trip
Six Immanuel members will be traveling to Siem Reap, Cambodia on March 8 to join George and Shary Frahm and Cambodian Pastor Samuel in spreading the Gospel message of God’s love through various activities including worship services, community prayer walks, VBS activities, Bible study for all ages, English instruction, community meals, and eyeglass clinics in villages there. The Immanuel school children will be involved as they do a project during Lutheran Schools Week, making flash cards in English and Cambodian to give to the Cambodian children to help them learn English. They will also each make a “get to know you” card to deliver to the children there. The team will bring photos of our children to show while there and will take photos of the Cambodians to bring back to Immanuel so our children can see the joy on their faces as the Cambodians receive the gifts.
The Cambodia mission team will host the Sunday coffee and have a silent auction on Sunday, February 12, to raise funds for the cost of the trip and to give to the Cambodian church.
We truly are “stronger together” with God’s help as we share Jesus’ love in Cambodia.
