Gracious and merciful heavenly Father, your steadfast love lasts throughout all generations. Your great love for us is demonstrated thru the sending of your one and only Son, Jesus Christ into this dark world. The most precious and priceless treasure we could ever receive. We seek your forgiveness this day and restore as children of a most gracious and generous God that we may in turn, share your priceless treasures with our family, our friends, our coworkers and strangers. Make us stronger together.
Dear Jesus, remind us to take time out of our busy lives to remember the importance of your coming into this world. You give us your peace, not as the world gives. Let us share your peace with others so that they may also experience the fountain of life and see your light in this dark world. Keep us sober minded and watchful as each day draws nearer to your coming again. Give us that urgency of purpose to know and do your will. Guide us as we build this community in Christ.
Dear Holy Spirit, unify us and strengthen us as we hear the voice of our Savior commanding us to go out. We know that you are always with us as we are in the mission field. You protect us with the shadow of your wings. Open our mouth to declare your love, your grace and your mercy. May your light shine forth in us. Help us as we build this community in Christ.
