A group of 35 students from Harborside Academy in Kenosha, Wisconsin made a trip to Immanuel on Tuesday. These young people met with our ladies that make mats out of plastic grocery bags. The mats are then given to homeless people so that they have a dry and comfortable place to rest. Thank you to Jane Blew, Jo Ellen Clawes, Char Hetzel, Dorothy Smith, and Leona Krause for crocheting these mats on a regular basis, and also for training these young people in the art of mat-making. If you have questions about mat-making contact Deaconess Suzanne.
