The time of year for submitting names for 2017 Immanuel elected positions is upon us. Please prayerfully consider and submit names of Immanuel members that you feel would be good candidates for the following open positions. If you have been contacted by the nominating committee, please prayerfully consider whether God is calling you to serve at Immanuel. The Immanuel Lutheran Church Constitution details the duties and responsibilities, but the basic objectives of the various boards and open positions are as follows:
CHRISTIAN SCHOOL BOARD
The Christian School Board is responsible for the proper operation and administration of our elementary school and auxiliary programs. This board is to make sure the school remains Christ-centered in its approach to all programs.
The basic objective of the Elders is to watch over the spiritual welfare of the pastoral staff and the congregational members, both individually and corporately.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
Plans, directs and implements all aspects of financial strategy, decisions, and activities impacting Immanuel and sits on the Board of Directors.
DIRECTOR of PROPERTIES
Responsible for the care and upkeep of Immanuel’s campus and sits on the Board of Directors.
MEMBER AT LARGE
Special projects generally in the areas of ministry action teams or nominating committee.
