Social Media Awareness

Social Media Awareness Classes at the Palatine Library

Pastor Donald will be holding social media awareness classes for parents at the Palatine Public Library. There will be three different sessions - come to one, two, or all three. Class dates are May 10, June 14, and July 26 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m.  These classes are open to everyone in the community!

Pastor Donald will bring parents up-to-speed on what kids are doing on social media and what parents can do to educate and protect their children. “Social media is a great tool for people to stay connected with other people. But it also has many dangers and it’s important that parents know how to raise their children in this day and age of social media,” says Pastor Donald. Pastor Donald has worked with various youth groups over the years. He spent a year working with youth in Oklahoma. He was then a youth pastor in southern Illinois for four years, before moving to this area. He has worked with youth in various ways such as a teacher, mentor, on mission trips, and other youth-related activities.
