Pastoral Care

Pastoral care at Immanuel extends beyond Sunday worship. Our pastors are available throughout the week to listen, pray, and support you. If we’re unable to meet a specific need, we’re happy to connect you with someone who can.
Need Prayer?  Whether you’re facing separation or divorce, illness, hospitalization, a personal crisis, questions about faith, or simply need someone to talk to, our pastoral staff is available to pray with you privately. Contact the Church Office at immanuel@ilcp.org or 847-359-1549.
Care Ministry If you are hospitalized or homebound, we want to walk alongside you with comfort and companionship. We can arrange meals, pastoral or elder visits, Holy Communion, and ongoing support during difficult times.
Hospital & At-Home Care If you or a loved one is in the hospital, please notify us (don’t assume we know). Call 847-359-1549 or email immanuel@ilcp.org so we can visit and provide follow-up care.

Baptisms, Weddings, and Funerals

Baptisms, weddings, and funerals all have something in common: all are immensely important events in people’s lives and are treated as such at Immanuel. In each case, we will personally walk you through the process.

Good Samaritan Ministries

Good Samaritan Ministries is a witness of the presence of Jesus to all individuals and families at Immanuel, the Palatine areas, and selected missions. Our ministry is to those whose needs range from urgent to dire by responding in the following core areas: assessment of needs, referrals, food, clothing and financial assistance.

Keep In Touch Ministry

The KIT ministry is designed to reach young adults in college, graduate or doctorate programs, and members of the Military. As a way to keep in touch and let them know the Church cares and remembers them, letters and e-gift cards are sent four times per year. Letters are written by the Pastoral Staff Team and KIT volunteers. KIT is made possible through the generous donations from families and members of the congregation.
