Plan Your Visit
We’re so glad you’re thinking about visiting Immanuel Lutheran Church! Whether you’re new to the area, returning to church after some time away, or just looking for a church home, we welcome you with open arms. Here’s everything you need to know before your first visit.
What to Wear
At Immanuel, you’ll find people dressed in everything from jeans and casual wear to more traditional Sunday attire. There’s no dress code—we invite you to come as you are. Whether you’re most comfortable in a t-shirt or a suit, you’ll feel right at home here.
Location & Parking
Immanuel Lutheran Church is located at 200 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine, IL 60067. We have a spacious parking lot available for all visitors surrounding the main entrance, which can be accessed from both Wood Street and Bothwell Street, and additional parking is available in the lot on the other side of Wood Street. Handicap-accessible spaces are also available.
Entering the Church
Please use our main entrance, located at the front of the building near the flag pole. Greeters will be there to welcome you, answer any questions you may have, and help direct you to worship, children’s programs, or other ministries.
Checking In
When you arrive, we invite you to stop by our check-in station located just inside the main entrance. Friendly volunteers will be there to help you check in using our easy-to-use iPads. This helps us greet you by name, connect you with the right ministries, and ensure your visit goes smoothly.
Services
We offer Saturday evening worship at 5:00pm and Sunday morning worship at 8:00am, blending traditional music and elements with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Contemporary worship with our praise band is held on Sundays at 10:30am. Treats and refreshments are served following our Sunday morning services in the Fellowship Hall. Each service lasts approximately one hour. Holy Communion is celebrated weekly at the 8:00am Sunday service and on the second and fourth Sundays of each month at the 5:00pm Saturday and 10:30am Sunday services.
We look forward to meeting you and sharing the love of Christ with you!
